Hi guys I know I’ve been pretty annoying lately with this but it honestly would mean SO much to me to meet her. I’ve been a fan of Demi since Camp Rock and have followed her career ever since. I honestly look up to her more than I do anyone. I’ve been through a few issues with my weight and how I perceive myself and having someone to look up to is an amazing thing. I’ve been bullied because of how I look or because of how I dress and I’ve learned to ignore them because of her. If I’m ever struggling with self image issues I just remember what Demi’s been through and how she’s fought through her issues and it reminds me that it’s okay to be who I am.

Her helping me with these issues is one of the reasons I love her, but to be honest I love her mostly because of the people I’ve seen her help. I have friends who’ve gone through similar issues as her and if I hadn’t known Demi, I wouldn’t have known how to react to these issues. I wouldn’t have known how to help my friends. I also know that these friends have looked up to her and have fought through their issues because of her strength. I see all the good she does and it’s unbelievable. She honestly makes me want to become a better person. I just really want and need to meet her to tell her this. That not only is she helping people, but she’s teaching others to help as well. I just want to be able to let her know how great she is and how big of an influence she is in my life. So please take maybe 10 seconds out of your day to just reblog this and vote.
